Red White and Blue Day memories - Friday 6th October 2017

Pupils aged 5 & 6 enjoying making a Spitfire for RWBDay17. The school raised £240 for this year’s campaign.

To celebrate women in the Armed Forces for 100 years and promote Red, White and Blue Day 2017 both North & South Campus had the pleasure of two serving personnel from the Royal Navy and RAF on Tuesday 19th September 2017. Chief Petty Officer Ann Miller-mc Caffery and Squadron Lead Victoria Dutton spoke to us about what is life for a woman serving in the Armed Forces. After their talk children were given the opportunity to ask questions and try on some of their uniform.

Children and staff went Red, White & Blue for three established military charities.

Many thanks for the stickers the sweet sale we did has gone well and we encouraged our cadets to come to school in their uniform. We also decorated the school with red, white and blue bunting /flags.
